Yurina was born in Japan.  However, she was raised in America - most of her life bouncing from California, Boston, New York, etc.  Her found passion of musical theater was a mere accident.  

 

Her parents decided to enroll her in an acting class that focused on diction because she had an American accent when she was residing in Japan.  Not only did she improve in her speech but she also fell in love with musical theater after she particpated in her first musical at the community theater.  

 

From then on, she has never looked back and is now a proud graduate from Pace University with a B.F.A. in musical theater and minors in Arts and Entertainment and Dance.
